Week 12 Blog

Throughout my life and experiences I have realized that research plays a huge impact on knowledge in writing. Think about it ever since we have been in preschool, even before school what we hear and see produces us knowledge before we even learn to write. Our different experiences will have us end up with different beliefs whether it is from religion, culture, curriculums or other people around us all of our knowledge is different, some may know more than others depending on the subject and vice versa, knowledge is infinite.

With that being said knowledge from research can impact your writing in many different ways, good or bad. You may have biases and beliefs that are different than others that people can see influences your writing, you may just write to “fit in” with everybody else. Whatever ever you learn about the topic you’re writing about could be right or wrong, could be changing, could be different than what others learn about the topic. Which is why open-minded writing is important, no matter how much you are confident in your writing whatever you write is not the end all be all, you have to leave it all to different perspectives and opinions and leave it open on the table for discussion

Research is the greatest thing an individual can do, it is free education that can allow you to influence others and for others to influences you.
